Lesson learned

"We do NOT put playdough on the iPad." These words escaped my lips today. Little miss thought the flat shiny surface would make the perfect table for her creation. Ugh.

Moral of the story: no matter how well mannered your two year old, do not leave the Ipad on the coffee table when playdough is within arms reach.

Lesson learned.

Walk in the snow

There are few things more delightful, yet utterly exhausting, as walking through the snow with a toddler. Ever icicle, every snow drift, every slush puddle must be examined. The wonder of a brand new world is beginning and all I want to do is get home with my groceries before the flurries start up again.

But that's life with kids right? Sweet delight and new discoveries; pulling out hair and wanting to slam your face in your palms. It's a "D: all of the above" type of life.

I hope for this blog to be a celebration of beautiful madness that is being a mom. You're welcome along for the journey. Can't say it will be a quick one, but it should be interesting.
